Why I’m Excited: The Mandalorian
Sunday October 28, 2018

Like most fans, I’ve heard several stories about a potential Star Wars live action TV show. First, former Lucasfilm executive Rick McCallum talked about the idea for a show called Star Wars seemingly being developed in tandem with a still in the works Clone Wars animated TV series. After several conflicting reports regarding how many episodes...

Highly touted quarterback Justin Fields has notified Georgia he intends to transfer, a person with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports.
The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the school has not yet acknowledged the transfer.

Monday October 01, 2018

Welcome back to You Should Be Watching, where I recommend lesser known or loved movies and TV series. This week I’ll be continuing my theme of horror, creature-features and anything suitable for Halloween. For this installment we’re slaying sea monsters with John C. Reilly in Tale of Tales, a gruesome and beautiful anthology of the...

But the 6’3″, 225-pounder has been behind Jake Fromm on the Georgia depth chart, and Fromm is only a sophomore. Fields has thrown just 39 passes on the season, completing 27 of those for four touchdowns and zero interceptions. It seems clear that Fields hasn’t been happy about his role and how that looks going forward.

Justin Fields.. clearly frustrated with his role at times this season.

Wolken also believes that Fields could have a case for being eligible to play in 2019 if he transfers.

I am guessing the racist remark from the baseball player could be the foundation of Fields building a case to be eligible next year. Given how lenient the NCAA has been on waivers, I could see him playing in 2019 https://t.co/6zXF9klrKF

In October, Georgia baseball player Adam Sasser allegedly used a racial slur toward Fields during a Georgia football game against Tennessee. Sasser was kicked off the team.
ESPN’s Mark Schlabach also reports that Fields is considering transferring, but intends to remain with the Bulldogs for the Sugar Bowl against Texas (New Year’s Day).
Schlabach adds that Fields “might consider Florida State, Ohio State and Oklahoma if he decides to leave.”
